Benefits of Toll Blending

Outsourcing the blending of chemical products can offer significant cost savings. Blending your products closer to the end user can reduce inventory requirements and save on ever increasing freight costs. Toll blending can reduce or eliminate costs associated with purchasing specialized manufacturing and laboratory equipment, maintaining chemical storage facilities, and hiring additional personnel for blending, laboratory support and shipping and receiving.

Do you know the key properties and performance parameters you want your product to possess but are not certain how to formulate a product to meet those needs? Let our team of experienced formulating chemists design a product for you to take to market.

Our stringent quality control measures are in place to ensure that all blended chemicals meet the required standards and specifications. Our well-equipped laboratory allows us to test for all the key components of your formulation.

Focus on your core competencies, such as product design and implementation, while leaving the chemical blending and product delivery to us. This simplifies your supply chain and reduces the complexity of managing multiple chemical suppliers. Our experienced traffic department can ensure your products are delivered as expeditiously and cost-effectively as possible.

We are well-versed in regulatory requirements and safety protocols for handling chemicals. This helps manufacturers ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

By outsourcing toll blending, manufacturers can minimize waste and environmental impact. We are efficient in managing chemical inventories and reducing excess materials.

Toll blending services can accommodate changes in chemical formulations and quantities per the manufacturer’s requirements. This flexibility is particularly valuable when designs or processes evolve over time.

Could your product performance benefit from automatic replenishment and steady state process control? Ask FOCUSTECH™ about designing a process control system specifically for your chemical products and the processes in which they are used.

Types of Toll Blending

Traditional

Customer supplies formulation, blending instructions, product specifications, quality control analyses, and all packaging and labeling requirements. FOCUSTECH™ produces and packages the products according to all provided specifications.

Turnkey

Customer provides product concept and performance requirements, and FOCUSTECH™ formulates and produces the product for customer to market. This can include FOCUSTECH™ designing a controller or replenishment system for the formulated product.
